Gi Group India celebrated International women’s day with Zeal and enthusiasm in a recurrent host of activities organized the entire day. A town hall was conducted to address people across India. The session started with the Congratulatory message for the Women of Gi Group by the Country Head-Marcos Segador. Post which a Round Table Discussion was organized by HR on “Gender Biases during Interviews and breaking Gender Stereotypes”. On this Occasion New Policies were rolled out by HR including revision of the Paternity Leaves and flexible working hours during Pregnancy and Early Schooling. The highlight of the event was the Inauguration of the Special Workstation for “Expecting Mothers”

Upasana Raina- Head HR- “Any change begins with the Individual. We are in a profession where we can get a positive change by ensuring we are not biased basis Gender while evaluating and selecting candidates”
Maya Nair, Business Manager, Elixir- “I believe we should be strong enough to face any kind of situation in life. We need to convince ourselves that yes nothing is impossible and I CAN DO IT”
Ms. Sonal Arora, Business Manager, GISS said- “Lets break the stereotypes, One should not judge the person basis his or her personal journey, but basis their career performance and professional achievement.”
Mr. Rohit Srivastava, Head Operations, GISS said- “Our behavior and attitude towards each other depends upon the upbringing we all had. I strongly believe that women are way stronger than men, they multi task, take care of kids, do job with perfection and lastly I would say Change begins at home”.
Mr. Gaurav Jaiswal, Division Head, Elixir- “ I believe that sharing your partner’s responsibilities and supporting each other is what make a relationship strong. It’s all about how we support each other without defining roles.”
